Tropical Sorbet-

serves 4,  timing 20 minutes

Recipe: 8 Golden Crown Pineapple Slice Tinned – chopped finely 10 tinned Golden Crown Red Cherries – deseeded and chopped.

Method: Open the tinned fruit cans and transfer them all together to an airtight container with the liquids. And-

• Place in the freezer for 8 hours.
• Place the frozen fruit in a blender or food processor. Blend until smooth.
• Put the blended fruit in an airtight container and freeze for 2 hours or until frozen. It should be the consisitency of soft ice-cream.
• Using an ice-cream scooper, scoop out sorbet into parfait glasses or ice-0cream bowls.
• Garnish with nuts or mint(optional). Serve immediately.

Note: Sorbet melt fairly quickly, so it is best to serve them in chilled bowls. You can also make the Tropical Sorbet from GOLDEN CROWN.
